how to retrieve my files on my Drive D. while the drive D is lost.

i have a 50gb hdd it had 2 partition C: and D:..

after i unplug the Orig HDD and PLug a xtra Hdd then copy files and paste it on my USB flash drive when i plug it back again the orig 1 and ready to paste my copied files to my Orig hdd i found out that i dont have a Drive D: anymore...

anyone who knows this problem?


and im planning to change my HDD but theres some important files in that drive D:

When you say lost bro, ig tan-aw nimo sa My Computer, wala na gyud ang D: or naa ra but dili ma open?

Basin pud nga ang partition na used to be D: originally kay wala na'y naka assign na drive letter tungod sa pagpaslak nimo sa bag-o na HDD. Dunno libog gamay imong pangutana hehe.

Start daw then Run then type in diskmgmt.msc then screenshot post diri.

Wla na jd ang D: bro. then nig ad2 nko sa Set-up kay 20gb ang ako HDD wla na niya ma detect ang partition D:.

to follow lang ang SS kay nko sa CAFE ron to research about it

bro checked daw basin wala nimu matarong ug connect....check power supply also basin naluag......rechecked tanan connections then start your pc....

Adto sa computer management/Disk Management bro basin na remove ang drive letter mao nga wala mo display makita mana nimo reagrding the partition. basin ang status ana sad unallocated na.

agree pod ko ani. ari nimo makita ang mga partitions sa imong harddrive. inform lang nya mi TS kung makita pod nimo dri. bcin nawala ra ang drive letter.

Mao ni siya akong gi mean bro... see screenshot below... ang GHOSPART wala siyay drive letter kay wala man gi assignan nako so dili ni makita nga drive sa My Computer sa list of drives.




kong naka notice sad ka using Windows 7, naay 100MB allocated para sa Systesm Reserved nga dili nimo makita sa My Computer. Makita lang nimo kong mag gamit ka ug computer management/disk management. kana dili makita kay walay naka assign.

In case sad naa assign letter pero dili makita naa sad option sa registry nga e hide nimo ang certain drive letter even e lock nimo for opening the drive pede na siya..
