for overclockers and pc enthusiasts, go for team elite or any better quality rams...

for systems running @ stock settings, use kingston or any high latency rams, it wouldnt make much of a difference...

AFAIK kingston is still in the high performance market with their Hyper X series, between both mas sikat ang kingston for overclockers, I would not even recommend team elite to any overclocker for that matter.

But if we base what available in cebu, if your getting ddr2-800 get which ever is cheaper, I came from a 6GB Team elite and upgraded to an 8GB kingston.

It would help us advise you if you posted specific model or speed numbers from what you are looking at, pretty hard to make a guess work here.

nangita kog 1066 nga kingston DDR2 so far wala pa ko nakit-an,, then naa available DDR2 Team Ellite 1066 FSB.. mao na lng akong paliton if wala na jud lain.. im not into overclocking gusto lang ko nga tag-as ug speed kai gmiton nko para Autocad and onther rendering programs...

ok ra b ni ani nga mobo.. ASUS PK5PL-AM-EPU??

I would go with Team Elite from a price/performance stand point. Naa nay pakapin nga heatsink ila mga value ram kumpara nimo sa kingston which a good bonus and that is for almost the same price. Also sa pang overclocking sa Team Xtreme ko. Sa ako napansin wala na kaayo performance ram baligya from kingston locally. Even sa TPC maglisud na ka pangita ug Hyper X.

I've built several machines for friends who are into CAD and Premier and all of those rendering, professional level nani ila. DDR2-800 vs 1066 barely makes a difference, infact if STOCK speeds rata ddr2-800 is FASTER for rendering due to the tighter stock timings, usually DDR2-800 modules are at 5-5-5-15 while 1066 may varry from 6-6-6-18 to 7-7-7-X.

Since your using DDR2 It would be fair for me to assume that your using an 800Mhz FSB processor and a board w/c supports "upto" 1066 as you posted "ASUS PK5PL-AM" this means that your technically overclocking your memory speed to 1066 since the processor is only 800Mhz FSB at stock.

To sum this up, if you use a 1066 mem you *might* gain a performance boost of 0.001% or about a fraction of a second in terms of rendering a 1hr frame or you will even lose out on performance as high as 5mins on a 1hr frame time.

Get a DDR2-800, Im using a kingston my self, 8GB.. its rated 6-6-6-18 and Im running at 5-5-5-15 for about 2yrs now 24/7 operation and never had issues and this is the low profile model the one thats extremely short.
