I already did my research and daghan2x nag ingun nga sRGB daw ideal for printing. But I wanna have a first hand information sa mga nka try jud and I think daghan2x jud diri na sa istorya. Actually nahuman na nko process akong pictures and AdobeRGB akong gigamit mao mejo kapoyan ko muusab if wala ra kaayo sila difference then kini nalang ako ipaprint but if naa den I have to redo it.

Thanks in advance sa mga mutubag.

bashblues: the main question is, does your print lab support adobeRGB? if not, then giving them adobeRGB jpegs or tiffs is useless and can sometimes lead to problems in color output.

Me, para wala na libog, I shoot in sRGB. All print labs here support sRGB and since I shoot for both paid assignments and hobby. Para wala na libog sa ako workflow. Lisod na if mo hatag ko ug copy for a client in adobeRGB and adto nila ipa print sa place nga dili mo support. Mayayay nya ang colors

just to add: the colors red & green. obvious kaayo ang difference between an adobeRGB and sRGB output. if you send in your adobeRGB to an sRGB only printer, I recommend you do some test print, say, 4R prints para dili usik

angay tingali mo mobasa ug makasabot about color management, puslan man nag digital photography:

Color Management for Photographers @Digital Outback Photo

Color management and color science: Introduction

Getting into colour management - an introduction

... and don't expect all the photo printing lab in Cebu knows about color management. Sometimes you have to adjust yourself or educate them aron magkasinabot mo.

Some professional photographers do take the printing process themselves for them to have all the control and such task require one some knowledge about color management. Sayon ra na sya pero mahal ang gastohan kung gusto gyud nimo ma perpect to your taste. Just don't get frustrated when you can't find one that can give what you really wanted.

By the way, what you see on your computer monitor, camera LCD is not what you'll get on paper but a little closer when color managed well. The problem you'll notice after printing several tests is that Paper is only capable of rendering a few colors from that of the AdobeRBG color gamut and on some case you'll notice that AdobeRGB does not have that color that is on Paper. In the end you'll end up with an output that you'll decide for yourself nga ok nalang since di man gyud mag match or makaya sa available materials. It would be best to stick to a color profile with wider color gamut (example: ProPhoto) during post processing (I mean to say RAW processing) then convert that color profile to the printer supported color profile. If you want to some soft proofing on your monitor before printing, it would be better to get the printer (machine) color profile (obviously not sRGB and not even AdobeRGB) and use it for you to see beforehand what is the expected output on that printer.

We all want to get the best output from our equipment, that can be closer to reality when we color manage our worlflow.
