I looked around and have not yet seen a topic dedicated to this.
I've just been hooked with the new box this month.
The new digibox is awesome since you can do the following:
customize the arrangement of your channels
get new channels
make your own "fave" list
get a program guide for every channel from current to 7 days ahead
each channel also has a what's next function so you'd know what the next program/show is.
since it's digital, it's clearer now

the problem:

FACTORY DEFECT. and this seems to be present in a lot of units. its actually frustrating.

we have three digiboxes in the house and two are glitchy.
the issues ive encountered so far are:

1. the loading 00% screen which stays that way
2. the blank screen
3. loss of signal (occurs quite a lot)

4. it freezes so you have to restart the box (occurs quite a lot)
ive e-mailed sky about the issues, and you can email them too! to pressure them into investing time into re-inventing the box itself to fix the issues at CustomerCare.Vis@skycable.com NOTE THAT THIS NEW BOX HAS A 2 YEAR LOCK-IN SUBSCRIPTION or at least it's what i've read from here: http://darlingakongangga.blogspot.co...sssssssss.html

@TS: amo pud box sa balay mag mo freeze siya like mga less than a second.. ang grabe maka freeze ang channel 8.. pero ok nalang siya kay atleast wla na linya sa kilid labi na kung lcd. unsay ingon sa taga sky pud nimo??

Good timing ni dah that I saw this thread. Just learned about their packages 2 weeks ago and since I only watch AXN, Jack TV and Fox Crime, I was planning to migrate from my existing 675 monthly to the 280 plan but learning this problem about the box, am thinking twice of migrating.

@TS, mo ilis man kaha sila sa unit if naa syay problems? If yes, napa-ilisan na ninyo ang inyoha? Does the "loss of signal" problem only happen to your 2 problematic boxes?

So wala na gyud problema inyoha until now? Or are there still problems from time to time? I'm just making sure that I won't regret migrating because i've never had any problems with the current analog setup.

So far wala na. Though naay times nga mu appear ang "no right to access blah blah"..tag seconds nalang mawala..Dili na ma abtan ug dugay.

murag mo migrate pod ko ani bro.. pero basin naa pa daghan problema anang digibox since mura ug test drive pana ba.. hehe

pwde ma post ninyo unsa nga mga channels aning 280/month?
