I have a small space supposedly to be used as garden area or just an outdoor hang out area but nobody wants to pull out a lawn chair to be there because it's uncomfortable to be outside, it rains, sometimes too hot, and just too many mosquitos/bugs.
So I decided, I might as well build a cheap little gazebo/ or tambayan / nipa hut/ inuman area. So if friends do get drunk, get tipsy, unable to drive back home or get sick and start to vomit, it won't be inside the house.
Questions:
1. Can you recommend anyone who can build this? Panday? Quality/experienced and cheap? (location is Guadalupe)
I'd pay for labor every day (no meals), materials amoa.
Or pakyaw, how much?
2. Ideas? Suggestions? What do you think of this design? (I am not so crazy about using concrete. I'd like it to be airy 'hayahayay'.... I am fine with it to last just 3-5 years.)
3. Any cost-effective ideas? Alternative materials I could use that are available in Cebu? I really like a provincial feel to match the location of my house, which is bukidnon (I was told a nipahut-like look or bamboo-look will not last very long so I decided on an open-gazebo design).
4. Has anyone built something like this before?
5. How much would something like this in Cebu cost? How many weeks to build one like this?
Feel free to send me a private message if you have anything in mind, if you feel that'd be more appropriate to reply 'in private'.
Salamat kaayu in advance.
***First picture is what I am thinking to build. Second and third ones are just additional pics for probably to get more ideas from to put together/to add to what exactly I should build.
