    Default Resignation problems

Anyone encountered this problem during their resignation please advice...

OK so like I resigned from my company, I specifically stated a specific date for my last day at work. Management won't allow it because it the holidays and thus extended my last day. I said I will try because I don't know my starting date yet for the new company. After few weeks, I tell them again that the date I specified in my resignation letter is my last day, management objected saying that I AGREED to their end date. I offer to work at home for my remaining extension days to avoid any problems and still be able to start correctly in the new company but management suddenly wants to change my shift. Also, management told me that I committed myself to working to the extended date and doing a specific job, which I didn't commit at all.

Lastly, I tried to negotiate with my new company and the HR told me that it would be hard because my start date has been adjusted many times. If I don't start during the final start date the HR specified to me, I might not have a job to transfer to... (My start date overlaps with the extension of my last day of my current company)

Guys what should I do? Should I extend or just leave during my specific last day?

    Really need help!

As far as I know, if immediate ang resignation, mu accept ra man na ang company dayon. Unless it was specifically stated in the contract nga naa time nga dapat e render nimo before resignation then you need to render time.
Check lng imo contract with them to make sure dili sila maka take advantage of you.
    Try talking with your HR.

Does your agreement with the management of the date they insisted was put into writing?
Coz if not, then your resignation letter is as good as their word.

    - Im no expert on this, but you never agreed on extending the date right? If ni 30 days na.. go na dayun. anyway just go over on your employee hand book/guide. naa man jd na dha. If wala better talk again sa imong manager pakig negotiate. wala lang tarung communication cguro or way klaro ug sabot nimo ang management. If ako ana.. dili nko mo extend kay ma bulabog na pod ko sa akong new company. 30 days is more than enough to settle all the works and for them to find a replacement para nimo.

Unfortunately bro there are handbooks/guides in the company regarding this matter... I will talk to them tomorrow or probably next week if management is not busy... Thanks for the tip!

so basing from ur resignation letter, ur good to go if nahuman na ang 30 days notice...
tricky part is, if tigaan ba kaha ka og honorable dismissal or proper clearance so u can start
afresh with your new company... worst case scenario bya ani, if dumutan ka sa previous
company, lisod lisoron jud ka tigaan of clearance.

I totally agree with you miss! But isn't everyone entitled to their COE or clearance? I don't have any issues or contracts with the company and I have properly turned over all of my responsibilites, resources, and materials. Trying to negotiate with my new company if the COE for them is really needed and I'll explain my situation.
