I've been listening to the group since 1999. It's just too bad I lost my copy of their songs. The first time I heard them, I was like 'WOW". They're not technical. Nooooo. Not anywhere near Dream Theater.

Imagine Trent Reznor taking a huge dosage of valium. That's how much of a downer Chroma Key is. And I LOVE IT. No kidding.

I'd recommend listening to their album, Dead Air on Radio. Especially the track, Color Blind.

I love this band!

"Dead Air for Radios" is such a great album. Their songs are indeed melancholic or downers as Glassmoon pointed out. I wasn't expecting a band comprised of members of Dream Theater (K. Moore) and Fates Warning (drums and bass guitar) who were known to be masters of the Progressive Rock genre would sound like this.

I also have their "You Go Now" album. Still a great one! :mrgreen:

di ba naa man sad si kevin moore sa pleasant shade of grey sa fates warning. check also that album nindot pud kaayo. kev is a genius. ganahan ko sa mga works ni kevin moore(when dream and day unite, images and words, awake) compare kang rudess og derek sheriinian.

In case you haven't heard the band "OSI" yet featuring Kevin Moore on vocals & keyboards, Mike Portnoy on drums and Fates Warning's Jim Mateos on guitars (i forgot the bassist), they're definitely worth checking out.  I think they released two albums, "Office of Strategic Influence" and "Free" but these CD's are quite hard to find. I consider these prog metal albums as masterpieces comparable to Liquid Tension Experiment; DT's Images and Words / Scenes From a Memory; Fates Warning's Awaken the Guardian.
