Wala pa.
If identical lang cla like same core like yorkfield and same cache 12mb. Example X3350 vs Q9450
There is absolutely no difference in performance on stock clock but the X3350 is more stable runs cooler and more overclockable. since is industrial grade processor compared to a consumer grade. Xeon is the cream of the crop on the same batch of processors.
If you compare X3350 and Q9400 the clear winner is the X3350 since it has a higher cache. And once again were comparing industiral and consumer grade processor.
^^ yes. This is why they are more expensive. Take note that a lot of Xeons use special motherboards though and use buffered RAMS (more stable but slower and more expensive). This one doesn't fall on that category i think since there are Xeons that can be used with regular motherboards as well.
The reason i don't buy em is because they are more expensive and i honestly am not familiar with them enough that i know what to do if i ever encounter incompatibility issues.
Oh, and another advantage is they use lesser voltage at the same core frequencies thus are better binned when going higher (overclocking).

i sold two units X3350's lastweek...i have 4 more here but wala palang nako ma test...kung fully tested na will post it sa B&S...shameless plug ni![]()
