this thread is dedicated to all laysyo food names. para di pud ta ma ihas kung unsa na mga sosyal nga food names kung mag fine dining na ta or whatever. hehehe..

you can also put specialty names sa mga famous restaurants.

Sosyal paminawon kay foreign terms man gud sa? Here are some:

bouillabaisse (French>boo-yuh-bes) - fish/shellfish stew; naa Cafe Laguna

pita and hummus (Middle Eastern) - we know pita...hummus is garbanzo paste; naa Persian Palate

pita and babaganoosh (Middle Eastern) - babaganoosh = eggplant paste; Persian Palate gihapon

tortilla and salsa (Mexican) - we know what these are...pronounced tawr-tee-yuh;

kimchi (Korean) - naa supermarket ug korean restaurants...para mas sosyal butangi ug first name:
gaktugi kimchi = radish kimchi
baechu kimchi = chinese cabbage kimchi

bulgogi (Korean) - korean barbecue

hors d'oeuvres (French; lisod pronunciation ani oi...murag awr-duhv) - appetizers
