    Default Yahoo Messenger doesn't display text

    What must be wrong?

    I googled the dilemma but no solutions worked so far...

    correct, but before you reinstall your yahoo msg... delete the yahoo folder first in your program files. delete everything then reinstall yahoo again

    yup I did and followed some steps the net suggests... I re installed java, clear message cache and configured browser setting but wa ghpon....

    I re installed YM for a couple of times but the problem persists...
