motorcycle rear monoshock rebuild in cebu? help please!

hi fellow riders.

Does anyone know where i can have a rear monoshock rebuilt in Cebu?

My tsr suzuki dirtbike monoshock needs replacing.
A friend told me you can rebuild a monoshock by using a car shock absorber and weld the other parts off my old shock to it. Then you can fit the spring etc back onto it.

(i would rather rebuild it than buy a new 'crappy' chinese monoshock that will maybe blow out the first time i jump it!).

I'm looking for a shop in cebu where i could have this done.
any comments friends?

sir, once explode na... bati na ipa repair.....iladon nalang ka mo repair.. nka experince mi pa repair sa hydrolic jack sus gipulan nalang mi balik balik sa tig repair
