    Default Going Vegan


    Guys. I'm planning on switching to the other side. I'm planning to be a Vegan but I don't know where to start! kinsay Vegan dinhe? Ok raba mag Vegan? In terms of nutrients makuha healthy ba ni siya? Dli ba ta makuwangan ug nutrients sa atoang lawas? And sa mga recipe niya puede mo share mga peeps kung unsa nindot and unsaon pud pag luto? Any ideas guys?

    brad, for me nutrientwise being vegan is close to being vegetarian..pinaka common is u will lack proteins..ask lng ko wat made u think to switch brad?

    We've got the same question.

    I did it before for about a month pero nagstart ko in a gradual pattern kay di man gud ka kabasta-basta ug switch sa ing-ani na diet kay as for me, mostly meat akong kinaon. What I did was increase my vegetable intake and lessen the meat sa akong meals until naanad akong body. So nahimo kong vegetarian for about a month. Akong feeling ato kay medyo weaker ko than the usual.

    What made me stop was when my Mom cooked my favorite dishes during my birthday when she came home from abroad. It was so hard to resist! Hehehe! Nawala in 1 day akong pagkavegetarian.

    dli brad oi.. in some sorts daghan similarities..but vegan meabs dli mu kaon ug something nga naay nawng..anything with a face/head like animals..vegetarian means purely vegies lng jud

    lisod jud ni im sure..mao ako d nlng ko mag tugatuga ug try ky i know im a meat lover jud..patya nlng ko kysa ma vegan or vegetarian ko ahaha

    I think its hard to be a Vegetarian!
    Naa sad ko friend nga mag vegan xa for 2 weeks and after weeks, normal iyang kan.on. Iyang claim nga nindot jd daw ang feeling if mag vegan ka kay murag ma cleanse daw cho2x wui. ambot lang. As for me, Every meal should be balance ( I call it COLORFUL). I have these supplements too cause I know nga bsan unsa nga gusto ko ma balance akong meals, busy man jd pud ang life wui.

    im planning to go vegan also since murag dili mu.uyon akong dugo sa mga meat proteins. you still can get protein sources man from plants like soy. pero plano naku lacto-ovo vegetarian lang. meaning mu ingest gihapon ko dairy and milk products (whey) kay lisud man pud if wala nalang gyud kay mag deficit ka ug minerals sa imong lawas like calcium and etc...as what i have read deficit pud kuno ang mga vegans sa B vitamins which can be found on most meat products. What im planning if dili ko maka consistent sa akong pagka lacto-ovo vegan is that akong source of protein is fish nalang gyud. No more red meats!!!chicken and turkey pwede rapud sometime pero mostly maau gyud fish lang. As you go older man gud consuming red meat will really pay off on ur health man gyud (heart problems) kay bisag unsa ka lean ang meat naa man gyud cya fat na dala. Ang fish kay naa fat pero healthy fats man cya (omega 3) if im not mistaken which is good for your heart and for your arteries (make it more elastic)...

    @TS, hinay hinayan siguro ang pagka vegan. makalitan unya ang lawas. i'm more of a pesco-vegetarian. i love fish. it's only these couple of months na sige ko kaon og pork. ang resulta, masakiton karong new year. wa man gud ko naanad na sige og pork. balik nasad ko sa pagka pesco-veggie next week.

    i see. unsa nang pesco-vegetarian? What do you usualy eat?
