4 long beeps....

hello guys, i just purchased a new pc this month.
my board is a Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H 1x 2 gig kingstone memory.

when I restarted the pc, it crashed on the restart screen, and a buzzing sound can be heard out from the speaker.
tried to press any keys on the keyboard and its really frozen with the buzzing sound(murag guba nga plaka nga sige balik2).

so what i did, i pressed and held down the power to turn it off.
and when I tried to turn it back on, I can only hear 4 long beeps, won't even get into the Bios screen.

(I wondered if it could be the ram, but it would be such a crap if its already busted since I just purchased it along with all the components last week.)

Tried to remove everything, opened the case out, dismounted the ram and reinserted it back to the same slot(made sure that its inserted firmly and securely).

Finally it booted normally. But Iam just wondering if it could really be the RAM which made the computer crashed.
It would be best if someone could determine, or could help me detemine as soon as possible so that I can send this thing for a replacement.

i-update lang na imo bios boss para mo-stable...

basin it needs some bios tweaking to make it stable...

bai i think this motherboard was the one that I bought before sa G.I. I returned and replaced it coz dli xa mo POST.

naa gyud ingon ani nga issue sa mobo gyud ang prob just like my asus p5kpl-am epu. 2x1gb pod akong e butang dli pod mo load maski sa bios. sad to say wala nay warranty akong mobo so i just buy a 1x2gb na ram and wala na nako gi gamit ang other ram slot. sakto si sir gaspar bios firmware ang need e update but if nag doubt ka mag update on your own. pwede man nimo ipa update sa store na imong gipalitan para dali ra dayon ma ilisan kung ma corrupt ang bios,under warranty pa man gihapon. hehe

uu sakto jud bro. sa GI ko ni gi palit! kagwangon di ay ning moboha hahaha, karun pa bya jud ni na month naku gi palit, ataka. pero since adtung akung gi tang tang ug gi reinsert bai, wala naman sad noon nag problema.


@Explode if akung ipa update ang bios sa GI bro, ang mobo ra akung dad.on nalang? or ang cpu jud, hahaha kapoy man alsa. mao sad, underwarranty pa, wala pa'y 1 month
