@Mark mao lagi bai, mingpilit ko ani ron.. may unta naa. Either sa Duha VB.net+MYSQL/Oracle"OR" C++.. Lahi rman gyud ning naa tupad nato ang trainor kay maka open gyud ta sa atong gus2 ipangutana kay sa self study then internet sometimes its not there what you really looking for.. Sure, I can find basics but advance lisud pangitaon specially sa akong gus2 makat-onan.

I hope naa unta.. Or kung naa man active teacher sa school ani mas maayo.. Direct Approach unta total i have programming experience nman pud.. Just wanna learn new things lang gyud.. and applicable to my daily task pud =)

drop out oracle and c++ you need years learning that. VB.NET muna, e familiar ang mga .NET techonologies, download some training videos and make some programs paste it, ask some help etc... for database, study MS SQL nlng if you are comfortable na sa .NET (VB) I didn't discourage you sa MySQL, but .NET have more support for MSSQL.

Good tips. That I can do also. I know MYSQL for one. I have a background Php and ASP (old school-not .net).
But I have to disagree with you, c++ would not took years to learn it, pretty much all programming language almost have the same language structure such as Declaration, Statement, and etc.. all I need to learn is the use of API, and internet stuff call outs. More the use of Search Engine call outs, API's and stuff.. I'm aiming to make my job easier as SEO Manager.

Copy and Paste code here is not a bad idea, actually its a great idea but the question is would storya(dot)net admin allow that?- copy paste code for help

AFAIK your goal is to manipulate websites (as per first post of yours), which turns into API's and stuff to make your job easier as SEO Manager. which is totally different!

What kind of API you are talking here? can you give one? maybe I can help you directly if I have time. I'm also into .NET technologies C#, been in C++ for decades, python, MsSQL, and other Microsoft Technologies.

Sorry If I lack in providing you more info. Yes It would make my job easier if I know how to write my own code/software calling APIs and lots of stuff that ables me to get more information about my competitor in marketing standpoint. Get more info on G. Search Engine.. From Manual seo work and hopefully convert it to automatic which is why I am trying to achieve.

I know there are tools, yes. BUT have to BUY it. We bought seo tools but but the problem is we dont seem to find the right job functions/capabilities that we want from the software. Similar with WEBCEO software function but this lacks the capability of scanning competitors landing page. Coz us SEO needs to know why we lose on certain keywords comparing their page vs ours(Frequently) not to mention I maintained 5 websites. We've done it MANUALLY and its quite but TIRESOME and no THANKS to a crack software or pirated one. It will only gives you malwares/viruses.

I'm thinking, WHY BUY IF YOU CAN MAKE ONE right? would it be great to write your own CODE rather buying one that's INCOMPLETE.

**** Yes I know VB6 but I need VB.NET. LOL I didn't mention that I KNOW C++? . zup with you and why not try to help me instead. I'm serious in getting me a PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMER that can teach me and I believe you are one. So can you please teach me. Let me know how much you ask for this? So we can schedule this up.
