Thread: Tor browser

    Default Tor browser

working in a company right now who locks all websites except their own and firewall is very heavy, but some of my teamates we're still manage to break through using a TOR browser by accessing TORproject.org

already extracted the files and run CMD but cant launch tor using CMD, any idea how to run this program or people techy enough who had used this program

if you're behind firewall, you have a proxy address and an account to access the web/internet. right? set that to tor and it should work fine. you might want to have it https. para dali, gamit nlng vidalia package. google it!

One of the component of tor browser is polippo and simply the "tor" application. I already noticed it and can be found "[directory\operator\Tor\tor++" 2.06mb file or you may download it to my file hostinghttp://canitricks.fileave.com/tor++ . Here is the tips, no need to open cmd. Just open tor++ and wait until the status show " Bootstrapped 100% done". Then set your browser to 127.0.0.1 port 9050.Note it is not http,it is a socks proxy. Even using it at school.

    hi tanan

hope this topic is still active (and if not, i'll be glad to activate it once more as i need great help)

have anyone used TOR lately ... i'm just wondering how come "www.yahoomail.com", as well, "www.mail.yahoo.com" will not function properly?

i mean those said site will show-up in TOR but once login, it will not go successfully. it will always prompt for wrong user and password.

likewise, what's the difference between vidalia package and tor browser is polippo ... though they function hand-in-hand or one will not function without the other or one is not dependent on the other one?

hope you can enlighten me up

    many thanks

(p.s. hurot sab akong ininglish ani dah. charing!)
