Danao drinking water behind diarrhea cases? - INQUIRER.net, Philippine News for Filipinos

I was there yesterday, and patient load amounted to around 220 already. Since DDH (Danao District Hospital) has only 60 bed capacity some estimated 67% of the patients were literally placed outside, using only tents (tents like ones who blocked the street when someone dies in the neighborhood

) with no walls... i wonder what happens if it rains hard.
Although the local government receives funds to give off free bottled water including the hospital bills for those patients, still problems arises like handling those mass of patients and providing their medication at the right time also the lack of some medication stocks like Ranitidine and IV fluid particularly Lactated Ringer's solution.
In addition to that some patients also complained of not getting enough sleep, probably because of the hospital environment which is not really that conducive to healing because of the noise and dust from the currently constructed expansion building of the hospital. What worries

me the most are those pitiful younger victims of this outbreak like those infants and kids I pray their immature immune system can handle it...
