i thinks he/she must be referring to dos/vga mode. IMHO low level language like assembly does not behave that well when ur using it to any graphics apps though Assembly is powerfull u can invest ur career using open source like java etc.

may we know for what purpose is ur app will be using like personal or school project but i bet this is personal hehe

Use int 10H ( video system ) and its functions.. Pero huzle man.. dugay pjud ka mahuman... QBASIC nalang kay mura npud cya kapaspasong sa assembly ug pwede pud ni sa DOS mode....
