Sharing internet connection on PPPOE

Maayong adlaw mga bro . Sa akong tita na haws sa province is using pldtmydsl connection using PPPOE wherein they have to dial every time they want to connect sa net.
Now since im here for vacation gusto nako i share ang net with my laptop good thing naa cla router the thing is i dont know how.

MODEM is : ZTE zxdsl831 <--- ip 192.168.1.1
ROUTER is : Edimax <---- ip 192.168.1.2

Ako gi try connect from modem to WAN port sa router = = = dli ka dial
Ako gi try connect sa mga LAN ports maka connect sa net but sa ang pc lng naa net ang laptop wala.

Tabang mga bro. i need help sa mga gahi sa networking dri. ty daan hehehe

Or Gi unsa man nimo pag configure ang router?

Modem -----> to router wan port ------> configure the router to dial the specified account ------> then connect upon disconnect (if the feature is available) and specify a DNS if its available -------> and if ur router ip is 192.168.1.2 with a mask of 255.255.255.0 you should put the PC a private ip address of 192.168.1.3 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.168.1.2 and your laptop with a private ip address of 192.168.1.4 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.168.1.2

I assume that the edimax router has 1 WAN port w/ 4 lan ports. so put the pc and laptop to lan port 1 and 2.

And if this didnt work, try changing the pc and laptops gateway address to 192.168.1.1
