Anti Rabies question

Will our dog be fine when she got another shot of anti rabies only a week after her first dose??

Here's the situation, we have 2 different vets because our first vet wasn't in her office when we had an emergency so we looked for another one. Our 2nd vet was the one who administered the deworming and anti rabies while our first vet administered the parvo. Today was our dog's schedule for her second parvo but our first vet also shot her with anti rabies thinking that our dog still hasn't been shot.

The first anti rabies dose was on November 3, 2010 and the second one was today, November 13, 2010. Our first vet said that our dog will be okay when she checked the vaccination record from our second vet but I'm still doubting what she said. Will our dog really be okay? We really are worried.

it is okay... the second vaccine is fine and would not overdose your dog, it'll just give him a better titer.

good day!! as far as i have known about the anti-rabies. he should not give the shot coz he will see the sticker on vaccination card of the dog. if the second vet administered the anti-rabies then the 1st vet should not give again the anti-rabies.. here n our clinic we had a twice a year anti-rabies vaccinations to prevent lapses..

i believe the situation was nakahatag na ang 2nd vet ng anti rabies without knowing nga natagaan na diay ng 1st vet... so what the ts was asking was, mutuo ba sya sa ingon sa 1st vet nga okay ra ang lapse nga nahitabo...

what i was just confused ngano wala na present ang vaccs card sa 2nd vet para nakita unta niya from there nga natgaan na ug anti-rabies shot ang pup...

It is fine. I've heard that personally by our Vet Doctor as my pet had her 2nd DHLPPi. But be sure that your pup is in her/his right age, 4months up would do.

Pro wla diay sticker gipapilit after the 1st shot of anti-rabies? w/c serves as the basis. Duha man gud kabuok ang vaccine record sa amu iro bro kay we have 2 vets in 2 different clinics.
