hi mga bro,
i decided to open my new topic here about OC coz the previous topic
"Overclocking 101" its crowded na..and its seems wlanay update... no one post there idea's about OC anymore., i finished read all the post message under the
"Overclocking 101 Trend" and getting some idea's about Oced.
i hope u guys help me about this:
Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Socket AM2(940) @ 1.8Ghz
GeForce 6100 (Biostar Mainboard) w/ built-in 128mb shared v-card
80 Gig Seagate Barracuda SATA
512MB KingMax DDR2-667mhz
OCed from 1.8Ghz to 2.0Ghz
Results:
- So far my system work stable and CPU temp 18-22degC and doesn't exceed 30degC.
- i only change the FSB in the BIOS Mobo from 200.9mhz to 223mhz (multiplier 9 lock) to acquired the 2.0Ghz
Questions:
- is it ok to OCed Mobo without external v-card?
- is built-in v-card ok for OCed?
- i increase v-card size from 128mb to 256mb by sharing my memory size is it safe?
- i notice the heatsink on the v-card (built-in) is very hot, is it normal?
- do i need to change the setting of the RAM?
- i didn't change the setting of the RAM in Bios...it is safe?

CAS#Latency : 5.0 clocks
RAS#to CAS#Delay : 5 clocks
RAS# Precharge : 5 clocks
Cycle Time : 15 clocks
Bank Cycle Time : 21 clocks
Command Rate : 1T
Oced @2.0ghz
CPU clock:
core speed : 2007.2mhz
multiplier : x9.0 (lock)
bus speed : 223.0mhz
ht Link : 1115.1mhz
Memory:
Timing Frequency :
334.5Mhz (change from 301.4mhz)

CAS#Latency : 5.0 clocks
RAS#to CAS#Delay : 5 clocks
RAS# Precharge : 5 clocks
Cycle Time : 15 clocks
Bank Cycle Time : 21 clocks

Mga bro safe ba kong OCed ko until 2.0ghz? so far okie raman ang CPU temp kong mo OCed till 2.0ghz pero ang concern lang nako kay mo init ang heatsink sa v-card sa mobo (built-in)..Im using 2.0ghz OCed around 1 week pero im back to default value 1.8ghz after i notice na mo init pag ayo ang heatsink sa v-card(built-in).
Any idea's.... is appreciated!!!!
Picture will post soon...dli manko kabalo mo post ug picture gud.
