I was a bit of confused. I have a core2dou 2.8ghz e7400 system pc. recently, i installed cpu-z and cpu id hwmonitor. it caught to my attention that my system have only one core instead of two, since im running a c2d proc. and getting onto microsoft's system configuration utility, on BOOT.INI > Advanced Options > /NUMPROC = , im only seeing 1.
My Qs:
Does this circumstances affects the whole system performance?
Is there something wrong with the other core?
Note:
The BIOS shows 2 counts of processors.
thank you and more power.
