its their server which is congested bro. i have two lines of semi-dedicated connection with 1.1megabit speed. same problem with yours.

last year, this yahoo messenger is fluent yet but now, i have noticed that their service is degrading. guess its due to the users which are becoming bigger and bigger, just like what happened to friendster.com .
