i tried to install this today and i'm really confused the instructions tell me to install a backplate however it does not even fit the cpu! this is the plate that comes with my m/b asus crosshair III formula:



and this is the backplate it tells me to use as you can see it doesn't even fit the cpu!



how in the hell am i supposed to install this either the wrong plate is with the kit OR i have been lied to and my m/b is NOT amd am3?! i tried for hours trying different combination to install this i found 1 however it's too low and the cooler won't lock into the rings..



has any1 successfully installed this on a asus crosshair III formula

should i get a new m/b?
