transcentral? kanang going to balamban?
your mileage would be a little lower because of the terrain. steep hills.
but the biggest factor would be your driving style.
driving style meaning?
how you step on the accelerator. the way you brake
at what rpm you shift. and the use of gear on the road and what is your cruising speed.
naka andar ba ang aircon and so on.
kung kaskasero kaayo ka kusog gyud kaon gasolina. regardless what your driving.
isuzu crosswind. 1:10 city, 1:15 highway. transcentral: NA
suzuki every 1:10 city, 1:16 highway. transcentral: 1:12
enlighten me kuno about ana.. hehe.. unsa ng
1. the way u brake? unsa diay proper? hehe
example, moadto ug mountain view. pilay estimated budget liter gkan sa JY?
1. avoid sudden braking. kung kita naka nay sakyanan sa imong atubangan nga layo layo pa. you release the accelerator and let the engine help decelerate you. anticipate when to brake and when to accelerate.
2. yup 1.5k is ok and always will depend on the car. i shift gear on my crosswind at 1.2k rpm my suzuki every at 1.5k to 2k.
3. what speed you want to maintain while driving on an open road. the lower the cruising speed the better your fuel mileage will be. 60kph is a good speed.
4.kaskasero. tagalog word for murag buang mu drive sa dalan.
nganu man diay kung mokalit ug break?
noh? naa lagi nag-ingon nako nga magpahinay kag dagan kay mas kusog daw kaon gasolina ang hinay dagan..
1:12 jud? so gikan jy padung eskina sa mt view, since 8km+ ra man guro na, dli diay kaabot ug 1L?
why sudden braking is bad. ok explain nako gamay. simple physics it takes energy to move a car when stationary. so, if you brake suddenly and unecessarily you waste energy and back to speed again. mang lisud ko explain. anyway you can always check google
the higher the speed the higher the rpm the more fuel is used makes sense diba?
it would also be the improper use of gear on certain speed. ex. an idiot driver would run at 60kph at 3rd gear at 5k rpm, then surely dako gyud kaayo kaon sa gasolina.
driving at constant speed say 60kph on 5th gear at 2.2k rpm would make more sense
yup a suzuki multicab van has poor mileage on the transcentral highway due to the terain and the little engine is more stressed while climbing.
ahh.. okie.. haha.. mga driver nga taga bukidnun man to ang gaingon nako ana nga kanang 40kph daw dako daw kuno kaau nag kaon nga gasolina..
okie ra sa brake, kasabot ko.haha
so dapat, dli dapat pautongon ang makina?
naa sad niana nga
1st gear = <10kph
2nd gear < 20kph
den so on..
nahibung lang ko ad2ng gadala kog sakyanan padung mt view den nagpatubil ko ug 500, den pag-uli nako kay nagpatubil kog 200 pero ang gauge kay more or less pareho ra sa pagpatubil nako 1st nga 500.
dili man sa dili pero kung kaya dili ngano dili? hehehe there are hills at trancentral that you really have to...
as for what speed to shift it would depend on the engine, displacement etc.
sometimes dili man gyud exact ang gauge sa sakyanan. the only way to really know the exact fuel mileage to get is either you take out all the fuel and fill it at what volume you want and drive until you ran out of fuel calculate how many kilometers it took for you to ran out of gas.hehehe or know the capacity of your gas tank. i full tank nimo and drive. once you get home mag full tank napud ka and calculate the kilometers traveled and the amount of fuel needed to fill on the second full tank.
