Well mas tin aw gyud ang LCD coz it uses Thin Film Transistors unlike crt. Maka daot jud na sa mata bro bsan unsa pana kay all are made of electronic components of which heat is present. Cguro mas dali madaot imu mata con CRT ky on my opinion advance technologies are built to provide better performance, compact design and environment friendly. Then mas new man and LCD, so the better. Much better con Plasma. Pero just remember too much on everything is always not good. So yaw lng palabi tutuk saimo computer kay bsan unsa pana na technology, MAKADAOT JUD NA SAIMO MATA!
LCD has causes lesser eye strain. It's because LCD displays turn each pixel off individually, they do not produce a flicker like CRT displays do. In addition, LCD displays do a better job of displaying text compared with CRT displays.
How about their RADIATION?
unsaon nalang na kung ang emung trabaho kay mag totok ra ug monitor everyday? nindot ni e sudguest sa boing pa ilisan ug LCD ang monitor![]()
i GO for LCD.. LCD jud coz its saves power.. less eye strains = less head aches.. more pc time more gaming. more raids. and so on..
P.S i still go out though.. i have a life
I think CRT causes more radiation than LCD... It's because of the electron gun behind the display screen, constantly fires at the display screen to light it up and produce images that we see.. And sometimes those electrons fired even goes through the display screen...
LCD:
less eye strains
not bulky and bcz it can take a small amount of space
crisp and clear pictures
low heat
i go for the LCD...
not heavy
nice ang display for games or movies
There was a time that CRT was the way to go since LCDs were far more expensive, and showed motion blur when watching videos or playing games.
Things have changed now though. Production improvements in LCDs lead to lower prices. Response rate have also improved that blurring and shadowing when watching movie pictures is no longer an issue. Plus LCDs are thinner, lighter, consume less energy, and causes less eye fatigue.
The only reason you would get a CRT these days if you have special needs for it like your a graphic designer. CRTs multi-sync capabilities and higher refresh rates tends to be its advantages still.
