1 TB seagate or 1 TB samsung/hitachi HD?

if i may you and budget permits, go for seagate. it's been in business for a quite long.

i would not recommend hitachi. From what i've been reading, of all the hdd manufactures, they have to highest failure rates. I really hope they're doing something about this.

Mao ra akong nabasahan bay but it might not be true in your case.

Western Digital and Seagate, they have been in the business for a long time.
And also the support structure is in place.
