Pls help, asus laptop won't display

Hello guys,

pls. help me out with my asus laptop, it won't display anymore..cpu- amd turion tl56, 160 gb hd, 2g memory, 14" wxga display,

it shut itself down while i was using it.. when i pressed the power button, the led indicator lights turns on but the monitor won't display..i tried to put some silicon compound on the processor, still the power will start but no display,, the cpu fan will turn on and off...

anybody who has similar experience on this pls help guys...thankz

Btw when imo prob nag start? pila napud ka yrs/months gi use nimo ang laptop? then unsa man imo gi add na hardware?

I think naa sa video ang issue since it wont be able to display Or the RAM maybe it needs to be replaced? if you have pair ram can you put at least 1 then try some slots...then try to boot...

what video card chipset invidia? ahahhh.. same na sa ako...dali ra na bro dad.a na sa shop andama lang imong bulsa.. .

1 year n nko ni bro, 1 week na nga probz, ala q gi.add hardware except 1 memory card, duha ka 1gb nga memory gamit ani..even guva ang monitor ani diva dapat motingog xa ig on once mosud sa windows, wala may tingog ig on,,mosiga ra iya mga lights og motoyok ang cpu fan..mao rah...

i-remove tnan nmu memory bro and be sure to separate the new one with the old one. limpyohi ang slots using a paint brush then, i-insert ang old memory (RAM) to one of the slots and try to turn on your unit. if successful xa then, shutdown ur device and try to add npud the new memory and turn it back on. if dli npud xa mo on maybe dli xa maka kaya ug 2GB or probably naa depirensya imu isa ka memory slot or ba kaha basin defective na imu bag-o nga memory. i-try lng ni ako mga suggestions bro. nka encounter nko ani nga problem before pro sa desktop lng nuon to. same rman nuon na wen it comes to hardware..

@TS: display na imong monitor? hope ok na imo laptop....usually gud doh kay if naa ka i add sa hardware usahay naay dugay mo initialize then need nimo i reset ang whole system para ma add cya ang new hardware. Pero sa laptop basin ana pud...probably the new ram would cause that...
