2x5770 = 75W higher than 5850 (load)
2x5770 = hotter than 5850
Cost + Heat + Electric bills. Hehe..

Plus, some games don't work well on crossfire or SLI.

@zoters go for 5850 brad alanganin kayo ang 5770 mabitin kas games like what most of the guys said in tpc..almost the same performance pod kung crossfire 5770 sa usa ka 5850..

I would get the 5850 over the 2x5770. AMD has punished the 5770 too much of its 128-bit interface. You're not really getting much out of the value of a 5770 bisag 2x pa na. Dako ra gyud kaayo ang gap of performance sa 5770 ug sa 5850 TBH.

^^ absolutely brad..compared to 5850's 256 bit interface..it's like you're getting those two 5770 in one card..

2 HD5770s beats the single HD5850, 17 times out of 18 games. It even beats the HD5870 on some games if not stay close to it by a few frames. So again, what on earth are you guys talking about?
If the ts already had a cf capable mobo, and power is not the issue( Don't think this will be an issue ) then go with two HD5770s.Last edited by Sempron Guy; 09-27-2010 at 01:15 PM.
