nindot kaau, we went there last sat. ang entrace is 199 or 299. either of the two. but the room is very good. and spacious.

the songs are updated. high tech! nindot and speaker and mic. its a bit expensive than the common KTV's here.

[I dont cook I Eat]

My friends and I went to Red Box this week. The facilities were up-to-date. The first batch of food was served promptly and since it was an eat-all-you-can, we ordered more food. (Unlike the usual eat-all-you-can, the staff serve the food, not the customers getting food from the buffet table)

After at least five follow-ups and almost an hour later, still no sign of food. Ten more of our friends came to the place and were getting hungry. One of us went to the receptionist and said that if they can't handle the volume of orders they had that night, then we could simply leave so all of us can have a decent meal. It was then that their manager, who we later learned was named Jimmy, came in the picture & tried to pacify the situation. Food was brought within 10 minutes. Pwede man diay. The problem was solved.

However, Jimmy kept on coming back and asking us - with a tad of sarcasm - if we needed more food. Since the food came in small platters, we said "yes, of course." Then Jimmy reminded us that they had a no-left-over policy and that the buffet was open until 10PM only. They also had a problem with keeping a tab with the drinks that they served us even if they had a e-system to do so.

Because of this, we did not really appreciate the food even if it was quite good. For P299 (for facilities) + an additional P199 (food) per person that we paid that night, they could have done a lot better... If not for the really bad service, our Red Box experience would have been perfect.

I know we Cebuanos are very fond of trying out the newest ktvs/shops/restos in the city. Please save yourself the heartache and skip going to Red Box na lang. This is one place I am not recommending and am not coming back to in the near future - unless they re-train their staff or change Jimmy the manager and the rude receptionist.
