    Default Import Sprint and Verizon Phone


    Hello friends

    i need your opinion guys about import cellphone going to Philippines from U.S.A

    one of the network here in USA are:

    Sprint and Verizon

    Now my question is: we do have lots of Verizon and Sprint network(courier) with different types of cellphones( blackberry, motorola, lg in qwerty, samsung glyde gps phone,palm ,htc and etc)

    but it is locked up and theres no simcard can put up.. it just program here

    1st question: Can we unlocked the Verizon and Sprint (courier)? other words openline
    2nd question: Can be used after unlocked? yet theres no simcard to put ....

    Last year i was in Cebu , had my ATT one of the courier in USA and we do openline and its working coz theres also a simcard to put.... its just this Sprint and Verizon dont have simcard to put or place....



    im just curious about this Sprint and Verizon ....


    please i need your idea and opinion here fellows....

    sorry but murag nasaag ka ug post, this shoud go to gizmos and gadgets. But to suffice your questions,

    1. No, it can't be unlocked but can be flashed to other networks like metropcs, etc.
    2. No, it can't be used in the Philippines since Philippine couriers use GSM network while verizon and sprint uses CDMA networks.

    i appreciate your answer.
    but just still me in curious how come my LG touchcreen and my Sony Ericson was flashed there..
    thats we are basing my first question...

    second question: the difference with it that LG and SE...( they are ATT courier in USA) has a simcard to put
    just this courier sprint and verizon so strict there company dont have simcard to put just program

    if you read my reply well, you will notice 2 types og networks, GSM and CDMA. GSM networks, like ATT, T-Mobile, Simple Mobile, Tracfone, and more, uses GSM network which uses simcards. On the other hand, Sprint, MetroPCS, Verizon, Mingo, Virgin, and alike, uses CDMA network which does not use sim cards.

    Strict? I guess wa may labot ang pagkastricto ana. Kay kung strikto pa tinuod sila, dili unta pwede iflash ang ilang cellphone from one provider to the other.
