Default I have problem about Gold

I bought some gold from KSA, some of it is a pair of wedding rings which is "supposed" to be 21k according to the jewelry shop were i bought it. now problem started when suarez and this other engraving shop told me that they cannot engrave it coz it is hollow and very delicate and the worst part is one of the shop here told me that there is no 21k gold only 18k and later she said the there is commercialized 21k(or what the hell does it mean?)even bought from outside. now i am beginning to think that jewelries i bought is trash...

Now my question is? who is telling the truth?

What i have in mind is these local vendors are just waiting for me to sell what i have to them tell me to just settle for a 14k rings made to order from them.

of course there is 21k rating for gold jewelry. trust me on this bro. gold business in the GCC is very closely monitored. there is what we call calibration of standards. i know, because i was in calibration. however, in the GCC, they actually prefer 22k to 21k or 18k. by the way, if you have good eyesight or you might need a magnifying glass, there is a tiny stamp in all jewelries sold in GCC gold markets. it is written in arabic numerals indicating the karat.

most hollow style jewelries sold in the GCC are imported from italy and usually machine made, and therefore carry a lesser making charge. handmade jewelries are almost always solid types.

    yellow gold or white?

If yellow, na man gani 24k equivalent to 99.999% mostly na sa mga chinese gold

If white gold, up to 18k ra kasagaran kay humok kaayo kong butangan ug diamond or stones.

naa man jud mga hollow na designs pra sa ganahan ug much lighter piece, or pra daku tan-awn. ngita ug pare-pareha ka daku nga solid nya compare ang weight. Pagpalit diay nmo ana wlay pare-pareha kadaku nya mas mahal? probably solid to cya. As for me lang dli ni unussual na occurence, ug dali ra sad mabantayan.

i'm not into jewelries but i was once told by a friend in ongpin that 21k esp for rings are not advisable. it's too soft. Now as to suarez.. this is one of the most trusted jewelry shop in the country.. unless you were talking to a non employee.. the info should be accurate. You didn't specify though what shop told you that there's no 21k available. Although from my understanding, what they probably meant is they do not sell this types of karat for rings.. and that you only get to buy this on gray market...

I once had a made to order 22K. problem, it was very malleable.
ma lumping, ma bend ug ma dent dayun so i stopped using it.

lazer itching puede for jewelries over 18K i dunno if duna pa mo itch diri sa Cebu.
Stamping will definitely ruin your rings. especially if its hollow inside.

you can check the prices of raw 24K gold over the net.
It's traded so it changes everyday. just google it. hehehe
