    Default DDR3 Rated Speeds question

    Hello guys.

Need your help in understanding ddr3-ram speeds.
what is the maximum ram speed that will run for:

    1- Core i7?

    2- core i5/i3?

    3- AM3 Phenom X6?

    With no OC sa processor.....

nag plan2x ko mag upgrade to Phenom X6 1060T, and i want to buy the highest POSSIBLE ram in respect with the mobo's capacity. Im not a fan of overclocking and i focus only in Online gaming like BC2, COD, and etc.

    thanks.

kanang hugot kaayo ug timings bro hehehe (CL8-8-8-24)

just remember, dili ni auto detect nga mga memoriha, i-manual set nimo ang mga timings sa BIOS or else you`ll be running sa default timings and voltages, pariha ra nig dagan sa kingston kung dili i-setting hehehe

from what i understand brad specially sa mga asus na boards if you are using intel..on the xmp tab sa bios (using asus) there is a default suggestion on what you will set exactly to run your ram at max speed or the best your memory can get without oc what you will do is copy that setting and input it manually in set the ram timings manually tab sa bios..

with amd brad..setting your bios to what your ram is supposed to run at max speed will do..for example when i first installed the ddr3 1600 trident rams on my asrock 890gx was detected as 1333 the default amd proc can get but with the right board i was able to set it to 1600..

if you plan on upgrading to phenom x6 with the best ram in it..i suggest you go for the g. skill flare brad..ddr3 1800 ang speeds which is designed and tested to run stable using the latest phenom x6 proc..

here's what this mem looks like..

^^ mr. man jud..hahaha..atots..btaw brad..asrock 890gx ako gamit with phenom x2 unlock to phenom x4 brad..

clock speed ra akong gi change brad..the rest is default..makita man na nmo sa bios tab..at first iyang default is 1333 then i switched it to 1600 or the 800mhz man cguro na sa tab kay the 667 is the 1333 man..i suggest to not change your voltage if you wont experience any instability running windows or if you're not into overclocking..para nko gud as long as i wont experience any lockups sa windows or game crashes, i wont bother setting those things..besides im quite happy with the performance pod..

if you have some screenshots nig upgrade nmo pohon have it posted nya diri para daghan makatabang nmo brad..just like this..

and before i forget kta ka anang sa 2nd pic brad?under the max bandwidth sa akong mems..what is listed is only 667 or the default 1333 amd proc supports but with the right revision or the so called c3 revision sa mga processors and with the right board i was able to run it on the max speed the memory has supported which is 1600..^_^..
