    Default Medicard Phil...


    my friend is about to resign sa amo company, ang amo insurance kai medicard, but what bugs me kai ingon ang amo HR pabayaron daw ug 60% ang employee nga mo resign nya imbargohon ang card sa Medicard...Is this correct? can somebody help kung sakto bani? What is the purpose nga pabayaron man ug 60%...and nga imbarguhon man ang card....?

    I dunno about that. what I know is that a premium for an HMO, especially if it's a corporate one, should have been paid in full already (or depende sa contract) upon the signing of the MOA. you can ask Medicard about this.

    You are covered by insurance as long as you are employed with the company because this is a group insurance i suppose..Your coverage with the insurance company cease upon your resigning from the office..If you want continuous coverage you can do so at your expense meaning you can pay the premium at a higher rate than those given to companies...My sister also has the same benefit bec. she was working in a bank before but when she retired, the benefit also stopped.PM me if your friend wants a medical insurance so i could explain to her better. I am also into medical insurance but it's also an investment at the same time.

    but my friend was told to pay 60% of the total premium...and after that they will get the card...what is the purpose of letting him pay 60% kung dili man di siya makagamit sa insurance? Why arent we not informed about this during discussion sauna with Medicard...
