    Default what if.. president?

    Background:
    last week PNoy actions during the hostage crisis can be summarized to the the following;
    -NO SHOW
    -No immediate solution, he let ground commanders takes over
    -DOnt know what to do, "let experts" handled it

    PGMA encounters many crisis, including hostage takings and coup; But she has command responsibility as shown by the following situations;
    -during airport tower takeover, she commanded the AFP and PNP to resolve the problem before the first flight landed
    -she comanded the DILG to tell the media to stop airing live video during the tactical assault of the military during peninsula crisis.
    -hand picked negotiator during many hostage crisis.

    Its obvious na c PGMA naay itlog ug guts compare ni Pnoy.(mao d ay wla pa na minyo c PNoy)

    TOPIC:
    Now, what if kung dli c PNOY atung president karn? what if kng

    -What if si Gordon? we all know him as the action man, so what will happen under his admin?
    -what if si former DEFENSE secretary GIBO? he has command responsibility and power over military.
    -what if c ERAP? which during his time mas stricto sa peace and order and almost wipeout abusayaf ang MILF and ofcourse has command responsiblity.
    -What if c Villar? a firm leader and decision maker.

    as tradion sa istorya.net, maguna tubag ang original poster;
    For me mas na resolve pag ayu using NEGOTIATIONS lang and without using force if Gordon or Gibo ang na presidente because of their experiences of negotiations and being a gentleman. If Gordon is or president, dli ni maabtan ug gabii ang crisis,. Gordon is emotional, i think he will give in to Mendozas demand with a compromise solution if needed while GIBO will follow PGMA footsteps of being firm and focus decision maker.

    But if negotiations fail and the use of force is needed (as what happens)? I think Gibo or ERAP can do, they have command responsibility experience for the military and police, not to mention ERAP was strict sa iyang peace and order policy while GIBO is the former sec of defense.

    DUring crisis, being firm and experiences plays in any field and in any profession.

    PS. please be mature in your answers and stick to the topic, i noticed some "immature" posters around politics section who has tendencies to go off topic.

    ERAP would be the one making the deadline. Negotiate sa siya then attack dayon!!!

    Gordon would have given in to the demands with concessions.

    Gibo will negotiate while positioning the SAF for immediate assault when negotiations fail.

    all three will demand no live media coverage though. the area will be well cordoned off from kibitzers also.

    villar would give mendoza money crisis resolved without blood..hehehehehehe

    i did vote for gibo...if it was gibo then..gi criticize na siya karon sa MEDIA for the block OUT..but he will be praise by HK for the good result..and will be criticize BY CHR for killing the MENDOZA..and noynoy will be the 1st to call for senate hiring investigating Mendoza grievances and why he was killed.ngano wala ni gana ang negotiations and of course opposition people will ride in the issue..rally dayon......mao na ang scenario..pista napud ang media sa pag criticize sa administration ni GIBO..and apil nila si GMA pg critisize..im glad noynoy won..para makita sa mga ugok nga media sa indeed sakto si GMA sa pag pusas nila didto the manila PEN....

    DOnt make propagandas .

    I am expecting people to answer in a manner who they would choose and why they choose that personality who could have made the job better and accomplished the mission of the hostage drama that ended in a tragedy .

    It will only take one OFFTOPIC and I will lock the thread .

    i voted for gibo, and i certainly think that things would have gone better if cya pato ang nakadaog as president.. look at noynoy now, he is miserable.. thats what happens if u use emotions when picking a person to vote..

    it is air force reserve gud c gibo so he should know something about these things.. and he is smart so he would have picked the best negotiator, and if things go wrong, he would have picked the best team from the SAF..

    defense secretary gud c gibo, so mas maayo ni siya ug mabuhat in situations like this compared to noynoy palaboy

    @ TS, i dont want to be offensive to you and hate to post this one, but this topic is for the people wala pa ka get over pag election... i voted for gibo last election but when noynoy won the election, wala ta laing mahimo but to support him...

    yes i must admit noynoy was so called EPIC FAIL!! sa kini lang hostage crisis, i would say he is not worth to be our president... antos ta og 6 years aning noynoy administration, which in fact 6 years under noynoy administration is a way toooo looong....

    and finally, YES... yes to say nagpabaya si noynoy and as a president, he is not totally to be blamed but he is also answerable for the happenings last week...
