Kuryente nato? Aside from the fact na VECO ga-distribute ana, daghan ta ug sources sa kuryente kay ang knaing atong cute nga isla nga pagamay-gamay lang perti diay ang Industrialization ug urbanization........ gamay ra ug energy resources like hydroelectric, eco-technologies. So klase-klase jhud na. At first, we are just a part of the Visayas Grid which at that moment is already consuming 60% of the entire grid. Grabe ang energy need sa Cebu, wala pajud nahuman ang CEBOOM hantod karon padayon ang paspas na pagdaghan sa mga companies nari ug ang Ciudad is turning into another Financial Capital in it's own right so resulta, magkadako sad ang atong panginahanglan ug more supply and since halos nagamit naman nato tanan ang natural energy resources sa isla, ug bisag ang sa Visayas Grid. VECO or on the general term, the Aboitiz Power Corporation which also owns Davao Light, expanded from the usual natural ways to building dozens of powerplants across the Province of Cebu, other areas in the Visayas, Luzon (perhaps) and even in Mindanao. Ila sang gitap ang mga natural energy resources sa ubang province just to satisfy the City's growing electricity needs.

To give ya all a good view of this situation, imagine a Metropolis of the same magnitude and economic strength as NCR itself placed in a tiny skinny isle in the Central Island Chain. Imagine a small island so dense with more and more migration from other regions with a booming economy. Cebu's fast-paced economic expansion is what pushes our energy resources to the limits. But sadly, our power here comes from COAL FIRED POWERPLANTS maong pwerti sud kainit dre.

Bottom line, mas maayo jud kung dle man eco technology kundi muconsider sila ug himo ug mga Nuclear Plants dre sa Cebu aron maminusan ang dependency nato sa ubang Province especially the Visayas Grid for our energy needs.

Mao ruh 2....... taas nu? hehehe... ana jhud.......
