patabang ko...gusto ako boss na ipa wifi ang tibuok 7-story hotel ba para sa internet connectoin sa mga guests,karon, ang naay wifi lang ang 7th ug ground floor lang.nya gusto nya nga ipa wifi pod ang sa ubang floor. ang internet server naa sa 7th floor .

pwd mo ka provide ug network diagram ug unsa ang nindot pod nga generic wireless router? ug ang IP Addressing pod nya.

kung kaya sa 2Floors per wifi then butanga ang every floor alternately... unya dynamic ip na diritso

kung kaya 2floors/wifi:
Wi ---7th floor
Nn ---- 6th
Wi --- 5th
Nn ----4th
Wi ---3rd
Nn ----2nd
Wi---1st

Wi = wifi
Nn = wala/none

then every wifi e wired connect sa internet server

thanks sa reply bro,dili kaya bro 2F/wifi ,naay room nga hinay /maputol ang signal ako man gitry ang sa 7th floor kung makaabot ba sa 6th floor.sa tungod niya ok ra pero sa pikas side dili na.

naka setup ko ingon ani.

ang akoa gihimo kay usa ka main router then the rest mga repeaters.

ang akoa gi use na wireless router is edimax mga 1800 ra pag buy nako i dont know pla na run. but naa sya feature for repeater. then so far ok ang internet

Access points ang gamita. You have to take into consideration the, Area of Coverage, Number of Users, Materials sa walls.
Kung gysum or kahoy ra ang dividing walls sa kada room. kay ok ra usa pero tan-awon na pod nmo ang user density kay basin daghan pod magtabang sa AP, useless ra gihapon.
Kung semento bro, lisod jud kaayo. gamit jud ka og multiple APs per floor kung imong requirement is quality of connection.
Kasuway man gud ko bro, Hotel pod, 27 rooms per floor. 4 stories, then ang hotel operator required na dili moubos og 2 bars ang signal at any room . I have used 10 3com APs.

Wireless N is not a guarantee cause not all Wireless Clients has Wireless N compatible Adapters.

Bro,
If I will use AP ,what is the good AP device and how to configure it? bytheway, each floor has only 4 rooms(2 rooms side by side,center is the elevator), walls are concrete and the number of users will depend on the number of guests checked-in that day. and I want a good quality signal para dili magcomplaint ang mga guests.

get the asus brand with their switchable Nrouter/AP/Repeater in 1 models. far superior in terms of features even with the popular over-hyped linksys brand.
