LAN cable help po..please..

tabangi ko ninyo be unsaon pag set-up sa lan..akong e connect ako laptop sa PC ky mag play man gud me og counter strike .para ang pc maoy server... todloe ko nnyu beh?? puede kaha ni..ako pc man gud Win XP..nya ako laptop Win 7....puede kaha cla mag connect?

ad2 unta ni sa networking na category bay, but anyway, first you need a switch, then palit ug duha ka cable na straight-through...i connect imong pc ug laptop sa switch using the straight-through cable...if naa ka'y internet..pwede rpud i connect nimo ang modem/router to switch using straight-through cable ghapon..no need of configuration, most likely mu-auto detect nana imong pc ug laptop sa network then maka play namo, if inig dula ninyo kay dli maka kita sa server, try turning off the firewall...good luck!

sakto si vampyr bro,palit lang ka ug switch..if less than 10 computers lang,naa man switch nga 6 ports or 4 ports, kana lang palita..i dont know pila ang actual price...

If you only need to connect the two computers, you could also use a crossover cable directly connected to both computers.

bitaw bro.. crossover cable rana if 2 computers ra... no need na ang switch.. pero if compatible ba ang OS windows 7 to windows xp sa games.. mao nah wla nako nahibaw-an. just you to find out if pwede ba gyud.. and don't forget to configure your ip address or just leave it automatic configure..

2 computers, sakto ra crossover cable then you set IP adress manually, kanang same network/subnet (unsa gani to term ani, just correct my post if I'm wrong)..
say:
pc1: IP-192.168.1.5 -Subnetmask- 255.255.255.0
pc2: IP-192.168.1.6 -Subnetmask- 255.255.255.0
