no extra charges?
just read na 6hours per day ang tawag which is ok ra.

as far as i know kanang unlimited call kay naa na limit pila ka minutes in a month
dli na cya per day ang limit
60, 120 and 400 minutes ang imo pilian, mas mahal kung mas dako na load.
kung wla mahurot in a month kay dli na ma carry over sa next month, reset napud

mas makabarato diay ko if single country ra akong subscription which is 7$ ra ang iyang unlimited per month. ana dri dri sa policy kay 10,000 mins per month ihatag or 6 hours per day ( Fair Usage Policy ) sakto ba ni xa?

^^yup. your right better use skype. the big question about local providers is, how reliable is it and how is the voice quality?

btw, i am also subscribed to skype's online number w/ voice mail and call forwarding for 3 yrs now and it never failed on me. never went down and voice quality is always excellent even if my DSL is only 384KBps and even on 3G. i renew it annually. for credits, i just load up $10 and topup when needed since calls to the US only costs 2 cents per min and most of the time i just call a toll-free 1-800 number for conference calls with my client. for me, skype is the most reliable and best quality softphone out there and one of the best voip services at par with vonage.

ang kanang giingon nga 10K mins or 6 hours a day kay mao jud na ang ultimate limit.
Kay pwede man ka mopalit ug subscription kung naconsume na nimo tanan nya wla pa mo end ang month.
Sample: imo subscription nga 400 minutes nahurot na, palit napud ka bag.o
so for that month imo nagamit tanan kay 800 minutes.

Just an Update in this thread to help others.

just purchase a subscription for unlimited land line and mobile for a single country.

it works.hehe later i will try it on iphone using 3g.

unsa model imo iphone bro? pyter kau skype for iphone labi na ang 4 kay naay multi tasking. skype can run in the background like a normal phone. you are always online. if older model like 3G, you need to jailbreak it and install backgrounder like i did. anyway it works on 3g signal too, but the quality depends on how fast the 3g speed is in a particular area.
