I used to have a Question book when I was 8 years old and one of the questions was WHY IS THE SEA SALTY?

The sea is salty since it consists lots of minerals. Minerals are salty in nature. Rivers carry salty minerals towards the sea. Rivers aren't salty since there are continuously flowing. Seawater couldn't go anywhere therefore all the salty minerals stays there.
