naa sometimes ang connection nako is ok.. then suddenly dili ko maka browse sa mga pages pero ang mga download nako ok ra(via torrent) and even if ako ipause kadiyot ang akong download mao gahapon ko maka browse.. ngano man ni? restart nako wala.. i've tried calling the tec center then maka ping man sila sa modem and ok ra man ang status.. kinsa naka suwai pud ani? and kinsai naai solution?

nakasuway ko ana katong nagamit pako ug sp2 unya naay part sa sp3 permi updated ako xp naay mga website na dili ma browse, karon maski unsa na service pack wa na ko nag gamit gawas aring qfix para sa usb2 which part of sp1...........

P-chan, sometimes the dns servers of those ISPs go broke so you cant access websites (unless you type in the ip numbers), so there are times nga mka download raaka sa imong mga torrents and do other stuff.


if this happens, try to ping

1. your gateway (the ISPs gateway, not your router) ...... this tests your connectivity with the ISP

2. your DNS (ping the primary and secondary) ..... this tests if you have connectivity with their dns (i hope that the ping is not blocked on their side) which in turn makes you access domain names instead of typing ing IP addresses

hus the provider ?
what is the speed ?
r u using another dsl router for more than 1 connection ?

firstly, for people to help you need to provide the carrier provider, the plan subscription and the configuration of your setup. its almost a name age date of birth blah blah blah. but really getting serious, are any programs running besides the explorer? for example torrents or any form of p2p? that could just totally take up all your bandwidth. this is not uncommon specially from users of globe dsl. not that it doesnt happen also with pldt.
