Cebu is in need of sewage treatment facilities for domestic waste, then the there should be a requirement for industries as part of environmental impact assessment to have a waste water treatment facility(pero mao lagi lagay2x pud usahay, labyan lang sa mga inspector).

I don't think Butuanon river is the only river that is already polluted. Most of Cebu City rivers are already polluted. As long as people or squatters live along the river banks, as long as industries or even residentials throw their waste on the river banks, we don't expect a river coming from the Garden of Eden.

Rehabilitation of rivers is a waste of taxpayers money or NGO funded program. If there are no concrete river management and no neighborhood cooperation, at least government should build dikes on the river banks so that floods can be diverted and controlled efficiently.

what im am saying is biased kaau ang simbahan when it comes to these.. ngano ang kusog nila birahan kay kadto mga dagko nga corporasyon.. ngano di nalang nila ma tambagan og tarong kadto mga pobre.. abi ko ba og patas sa tanan sa panan-aw sa ginoo ma dato og ma pobre,, ngano special treatment man sa mga pari mga pobre maski saup nila.. and also, naa pud ni political agendas mga pari.. which they are using the poor as pawns and bargaining chips..

kung sa una ra ni nga problema, ngano murag nawala ra man ni.. ang simbahan di ganahan mohilabot ani kay kung imu jud tan-awn.. majority of settlers duol sa mga mga suba kay mga pobre or squatters.. its no wonder also ngano kini pud nga mga area pinaka-taas rate sa diseases..

talking of squatters.. it seems nga ang simbahan hilom kaau ani nga issue.. hadlok ang simbahan hilabtan ang mga pobre which gives them political influence.. squatters is a major source of clogging of our water drainage.. according to my engineer, kining mga squatter, walay tarong nga waste disposal system.. trabaho ba na sa goberno mo provide? take note that these squatters are illegally occupying private lands...

di man pud pwede nato basta nalang pa stop ang quarries and mines.. patay ato economiya ana.. if that happens. ang mga pobre ra ghapon mas ma apektohan.. correct? always look at the big picture..
