ngano ang ma detect sa gpuz sa vram kay 896mb raman?
then sa GTA4 896mb rapud ang mga detect.
how to use the 1792 ram of gtx295 sa GTA4?
kay dili ko maka play og higher settings sa GTA 4.

post your system specs including OS, i have a feeling you're running a 32-bit operating system.
*maybe the other chip of ur 295 is broken if 896x2= 1792 since its a dual gpu card.... just maybe
there it is, the culprit; 32-bit operating system. switch to 64-bit and have fun. silverfish hand catch.![]()
affected pud diay ang video memory, As well as system memory.
yes, here is an example:
Spoiler!
that's my 9800GT taking up 512MB on the resources allocated in the virtual-address space. if you're wondering why it has multiple entries; RAMDAC, the GPU itself and the GDDR3 video memory (among other things).
edit: changed pic to reflect all 9800GT entry.
ninja-edit: if you can read or convert hex then you can change the value as to which part and how big the highlighted devices are taking up in the address space.

likewise with the RAM. 3GB ray ma detect if 32bit OS. very well explained poldo. +1
32-bit OS or 64 bit OS has nothing to do with this.
nor your card is broken.
Its a dual GPU SLI'd on a single card.
each GPU has a dedicated 896MB of VRAM
and cannot use the other 896MB on the other GPU.
That's how SLI works.
That's why GPU-Z showed you only 896MB which is normal for this card.

^ ah, i overlooked the SLI factor, so there's your answer. wa man sad ko kasuway ug SLI, gud - single card ra jud tawn unless naay for reviews.
still, for such a high-end system, you ought to be running 64-bit. memory access for applications in a 32-bit system is limited to 2 GB. that, and your graphics card is probably sitting on a huge virtual address space supposedly for the operating system/application.
