Why is it that the LGU's or even the city allows people to occupy the sidewalk to vend or extend a part of their house. in lahug going to I.T. Park coming from either banilad, mabolo, BIR. there's no such thing as a decent sidewalk. not only in lahug but also some parts of the city. are they blind? can't they see this? plus there's this useless lamp post that makes it more difficult to pass. hey you, whoever you are who are in-charge of this, don't wait for someone to get seriously hurt. a person deserves a decent sidewalk to pass to, if you can't provide one then don't let people pass this way. close the road.
and remove all the useless lamp post. its basically a nuisance it has served it purpose and of no use of whatsoever. people are using the road meant for cars as their sidewalk. Mr. Mike Rama can you do something about this. so shameful for us to brand this city as a Metro but sidewalks are inexistent in major foot traffic areas. Be responsible and open your eyes mr. mayor.

the lamp post you are referring to is not an ordinary lamp post, it costs 100k pesos each (overpriced) by DPWH, teddy boy and arturo...while same exact models are priced only 30k in naga plaza.

sidewalks should accommodate also a space for bicycles, not only pedestrians. Useless railings also adds obstruction. And the branches of the trees also serves as shed during the day, which may be dim during night time in which robbers lurk.
