for me zakk wylde is one badass metal guitar player...hand-picked by no other than rock icon ozzy osbourne from almost 5000 who vied to replace legendary rock guitarist jake e. lee as lead axeman in his eponymous band, he has ably pulled the reins of this iconic behemoth of a band to tread in even deeper metal sludge, redefining metal & carving out a niche for himself in the metal hierarchy with his signature low note harmonic squeals, gut-churning/ head-pounding metal riffs, & an insane mutation of chicken-pickin' multi-fingered arpeggios that abound profusely in his fiery solos.
personal verdict : jeffrey phillip wielandt rocks!!!
