do i still need firewall?

i'm using prolink router and it said that it already has firewall built in on it..plus i installed zone alarm before but it has 0 blocked instrusions for a week so i decided to uninstal it. do i really still need firewall?

if you are using windows XP , the built in firewall is sufficient to keep you safe.
But you still need to install anti virus, like norton or mcafee to keep virus away.
and update your internet explorer to version 6 or 7 to impove security in your browsing.
There are a lot of things you should to to prevent and secure your browsing.
The one's i mentioned on top are just the basics.
