@gsirk: bro, i recommend at least 4gb of ram para mag 64-bit system ka. Software developers are now trying to shift to 64-bit systems which is about time imo.

Regarding recommendations, dependi lagi jud sa budget. Mo ingon ko for example ug UD9 nga motherboard pero OK ra nimo gasto ug tag 35k para motherboard lang? lol

Bro, ill give you some recommendations to give you and idea. I can't give you the prices though...
    NOTE: CF = CrossfireX
    1. your options are:
    ATI: 5850, 5770 CF, 4890, 4850 CF, 4770 CF
Nvidia: GTS 250 CF, 9800GTX+ CF, GTX 460 1GB (just release and I'm very impressed with the reviews so far)
    2. Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r or ASUS P6X58D-E
    3. With your budget bro, you can forget about the liquid cooling lol. The vga waterblocks alone costs 5k each. you can get a budget watercooling just for the cpu kng gusto ka with the corsair h50.
You can also go with these standard heat sinks for the cpu:
Prolimatech Megahalems, Tuniq 120 Tower, Noctuas and many others.
    4. Sakto ra 750w bro.
    5. Recommend ko to go with ram with XMP profiles. good brands are Kingston, g.skill, crucial, corsair (XMS lang kay grabi ka mahal ang dominators), and A-data. try to get ram with low latencies (cas 8 or below). Kng pwdi get those with heatspreaders (ayaw lang tall heatspreader kay mas mahal nya unnecessary tbh). Go for 2x2gb kay barato ra compared sa 4gb. Kasagaran sa mga 4gb right now low freq pa pud...
    6. dont know...

Wait diay lol. kalimot ko na 1366 socket man diay ka idol. dili pwdi 4gb ra imo ram haha.. u have to occupy at least 3 slots sa RAM. so you need 6gb (3x2gb) for optimum 64 bit OS lol
