When the music plays...
I hear drums that beat like how my heart beats
I see hearts flying around me
I feel enthusiastic and alive and joyful

When the music plays...
I think of you
like the moment we share our first kiss
like the time we enjoyed our first movie together
when we dreamed together under the stars and the moon

When the music plays...
I tell myself how lucky I am to have someone like you
I try to think of many ways on how to make you smile everyday
I pray to God that this music would play on and on

But suddenly the music changed...
And so did our love
Our relationship struggled so much
And someone must give up.
I tried to save the song
Like how I tried to save our love
But someone's in your arms
As you sing her my lullaby.
So I shed my tear as I listen to the song
The one that breaks my heart so much
There's nothing I can do but to turn away
Even if there are a lot of things I want to say.
Now, I am alone
Thinking of the things that used to be mine
Apart from that, my heart still bleeds
As it sings the words... while the music plays.
