50mm mas cheaper, but its a bit long when attached to a DX body..say ang 50mm is intended for FX body..kung imo gamiton na sa DX murag naa sa 70mm equiv..ang 35mm sad mahal..pero equiv. sa 50mm sa DX body...crop factor 1.5 man
50mm (full frame) x 1.5 = aprox. 70mm
35mm (full frame) x 1.5 = approx. 50mm
sakto ba ni mga masters? correct me if im wrong..hehehe..newbie pa tawn
boss, im not sure if canon ka or nikon ... but if canon ka, unya ganahan ka prime lenses (sharp gyud ni sila), nindot ni nga line up --> 14mm or 15mm (fish eye), 35mm, 85mm, 135mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm, 800mm
for me, i like both.
50mm on a crop body a bit long? I don't think so. Get a 35mm on a crop body and you'll start saying its a bit short too. It really depends on what the TS is going to need them for. If you shoot a few people, go for for the 50. If you plan to shoot groups of people then put on your kit lens.
People look slimmer too in the 50mm and up. Others prefer the 85mm whether on a full frame or crop body.
nikon user sir..prob is im using a nikon body that dont have a BIM..so mahal ang 50mm so looking for an alternative
85mm seems a good lense also
it depends sa imong gamit. medyo mahal ang 35mm compared sa 50mm
if makahulam ka sa duha, try it nalang. hehe![]()
If wala bim imo cam then 35 s d way to go. However i have no problem using my 50 1.8 on my d5000 before. Manual is obly a pain at first.
bossing vote ko for 35mm =)
