Is it safe to buy consumer electronics here?

I am planning to buy an iPod touch 3rd Gen and from the prices posted here, it's such a bargain. But my concern is how do I know if I'm given the real thing? Aside from the price, how does it differ from the ones bought from the store?

do some research on buying 2nd-hand/bargain iPods. know all the problems and what you need to LOOK OUT FOR when buying used electronic gadgets. that, for me, is the best advice.

new products? um.. youtube is your best friend. look at the "unboxing" videos and make sure you would get the same items as seen in those videos to what you will get when you buy stuff brand new here. sellers here usually sell you the real thing and you can double check with feedback from other customers so backread on the thread they have.

buyer beware at all times. even if it seems legitimate, just be careful and DO NOT RUSH yourself if they will rush you.

for me, it's quite safe as long as you know the seller and be aware that what you're buying is original...as far as i know no one's allowed to sell fake/clone items here in istorya..
