MANILA, Philippines - International singing sensation Charicesaid on Twitter Tuesday that she is set to join the second season of the hit US musical TV show "Glee".
"It's official. I'm on Glee (next season)...," Charice announced on her Twitter account.
She is the second Filipino (excluding Filipino-Americans) to make it big in the US entertainment scene after singer Lea Salonga.

Teenage pop star Charice has enrolled at William McKinley High School! On the next season of Glee, all star Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) will be pitted against a new foreign exchange student for the role of #1 diva! EW reports that international singing sensation Charice has signed on to play New Directions newest member and Rachel's main competition in season 2.
After proving that she has what it takes to perform solos, Charice will become Rachel's nemesis. Not that we don't love hearing Rachel sing, but it would be nice to watch her face some serious competition. Time to get excited Gleetards!
